Knorr Granulated Chicken Flavor Bouillon Seasoning Ground, 35.3 oz Jar

Excellent chicken bouillon with a nice long shelf life. Switched from another product (Tone's) I had been using for several years which needed refrigeration making it difficult to buy and/or stock on the shelf for future use beyond a year. Think survival supplies. This bouillon has a lovely taste, strong enough that you don't need much and melds well in soups, sauces, stews or where ever you might need a "punch" of chicken flavor. You don't have to dilute with water before you use, just dip a spoon, sprinkle, stir and taste! I might also mention that the price through Walmart is the best I've found on the web. So buy many, store and use with confidence!

My daughter sent me the first jar of Chicken Granulated Bouillion. I've tried using it to cook rice (just put it in the water at the same strength as recommended) and it defnitely enhances the overall flavor. Don't be shocked when you read the list if ingredients--there is only chicken fat, and beef fat, in such small quantities that they don't add any significant amount of anything to callories, etc. So in esence this is chickenless chicken bouillion. But it really tastes good. It's great for gravies and you can even sprinkle a little on salads and vegetables. BUT remember--the first ingredient is SALT. It tasted so good that I ordered 2 more jars, one for me and one for a friend. Now if Knoor would start selling the powder from Liptons chicken noodle soup packaged like this, then I would have all the flavors I like. I would recommend this to everyone but remember the Salt for those that have problems.
