Best bang for your buck for margarine~

This is the best valye margarine that I've tried. before they change the formula I really liked another brand (*I can't believe it's not butter) but that brand got expensive and their containers don't like to stay shut. I do buy only sticks for Bluebonnet because they're easier to store. My only note on this brand is: I've seen the sticks often have striping of yellow. It doesn't mean they're bad just less than perfect blending. I even started using this in place of butter and my bread machine, It seems to make my bread softer and more sliceable than if I use oil or butter. (Less crumbling).

Great buttery flavor! Excellent price!

I regularly (for about 40 years) buy this and one other brand of stick butter. It's low in saturated fat and has a better buttery flavor than other sticks in this price range. Great for baking, melts nicely on vegetables, in pans, etc. Has a creamy feel on your tongue. Classic butter, excellent all around.

I know sticks like this of ordinary margarine (butter?), have fallen out of style. I forget why. But this is now what it always has been. Many have troubles with salt or fats. There are probably healthier butters, but this is the same price and the same quality as before. Some of the stuff that's engineered to replace fats scares me a little. New and improved sounds good, but it says nothing about long-term effects. I think the answer is self-control.
