Stainless Steel?

Surprise! The Polished Nickel Finish" is a plastic wrap to simulate polished nickel. It begins to molt after a few years and looks like it came from the bowery in 1934. Ugly!

Durability

Bought this grab bar several years ago and noticed corrosion and finish peeling at one end of grab bar. It appears that the brushed nickel finish is really a decal that peels off when corrosion starts. Will try to get replacement via unlimited limited warranty representation by Moen.
