Feels perfect in my hands

I've played a couple of rounds with my new wedges and love them. I have more spin and control with my 56° than I ever have and the 52° (a new club for me) feels perfect in my hands. These will help me lower my handicap for sure. Assuming I practice well

Give them a swing before you pay more for Volkey!!

I have played Volkey wedges for the better part of 10 years SM7s - SM9s. End of last season I hit my friends Jaws wedges and I could not believe how much softer they felt. I'm sure the Raw faces have a lot to do with that but I just couldn't get it out of my head. I like to upgrade wedges every couple of years as I play 2 or 3 times a week during the season. This year I knew I had to go with these Jaws wedges and I'm glad I did !!! Full shots are so much more solid and less clicky than what I had become used to in the past and it gives me so much confidence on those tricky 60 - 80 yard approach shots. If you are worried about how the black wears I'll be the first to admit the leading edge and sole do wear as to be expected with black heads but honestly it actually gives the wedges character and does not bother me at all. If wear on a black club bothers you give the chrome ones a try. As with all things get fitted for a shaft that works for you but definitely give these heads a hit when making your selection.

One Left in a bag of Rights.

A friend overshot the green and the ball landed about 10 inches from the pond. They tried to keep their balance standing between the ball and the water to make an awkward chip back up to the green. I thought one slip and that winter water is going to be so cold... At that moment I decided to get a left handed wedge to get out of trouble. It was super awkward at first when I tried it on the range, but before I finished at least four others came over to give it a try. Now it's part of my regular practice routine, and I love it!
