This is about a young woman who essentially makes her living as a thief. When her sister asks her to come back to their hometown to care for her niece and nephew while the parents are stranded, she only comes to hide out from the police. She's not a particularly good influence on the children (so the PG rating is appropriate) thru most of the movie. Towards the end, she has second thoughts about where her life is going, her influence on her niece and nephew, and what she may have been missing.
