These are perfect. I was looking for a lightweight hiking boot that is waterproof. Walked through water with these and encountered no issues. Held up super well while hiking in Lake Tahoe-extremely comfortable and pretty easy to break-in/they don't require much breaking in.

These will be fine for hikes and flatter, safer terrain. If you going to be hiking on challenging, rough terrain with loose rock and/or extreme up/downhill climbs, you'd be better off purchasing "serious" hiking boots.

I LOVE THEM

I love my Tevas! Although I have only ever had the sandals (hurricane) and sneakers. I was nervous to try these boots mainly due to the price tag and no previous reviews to help my decision. Ultimately I decided on these and I am SO GLAD I did! They are incredibly comfortable; more comfortable than my Vasque hiking boots. They are so attractive too! I love how the material around my ankles is sturdy enough for support but not super thick; that is a game changer. I get so many compliments every time I wear them. I have done several weeks of walking through muddy/wet fields in them and my feet have stayed completely dry.
