DOES NOT WOBBLE! Pole is slender, gooseneck is very bendy. Several light settings make it ideal for next to my recliner, across from TV. I can choose the type of light (intensity, etc) to meet my need. I like to read with a TV table and I can focus the light onto the pages or aim onto ceiling for a more diffuse effect. Heavy base.

I do NOT understand how there's reviews saying this is hard to assemble…I actually gotta laugh! lol omg!! I'm easily confused since my heart kicked out a few years ago, and I put this together without any trouble! Everything is already together where it belongs, you just twist it together, plug on cord, plug in outlet and it's ready to turn on! Less than 5 minutes to fully assemble. I DO wish it had remote control feature from across the room but oh well. It's still nice, many light settings from dim soft light to bright daylight light. I'll probably be buying two more for the living room because no light bulbs to fuss with makes it even better.
