Instructions - Bee Attractant is a non-toxic, all natural way to help attract and trap destructive carpenter bees. This product is designed to be used with all common designs of carpenter bee traps, making them more effective. Lure Application - Remove jar/bottle attachment from bee trap. Squirt 5 or 6 drops of bee lure into bottom of trap jar/bottle. Attach trap jar/bottle back on bee trap. Apply several drops of bee lure inside and around each of the bee trap entry holes. The carpenter bees will find the lure and be lead into the trap to find more. Reapply lure weekly or as needed. Trap Placement - For existing infestations: Place traps near carpenter bee holes. Using caution, block holes in the structure where bees are entering. Blocking holes helps cause bees to search for new homes, driving them to the trap. For prevention: Place traps near corners of wooden structures, wooden railings and porch areas. Place traps anywhere evidence of carpenter bee activity is seen. Be patient with new trap placements. It may take a few days to start catching carpenter bees. Once the first bees find the trap, more are soon to follow. Safety - Use caution when around carpenter bees. Female carpenter bees can sting. Male carpenter bees do not sting but still can bite. No not ingest lure. Keep away from children. Follow all local codes. This product meets all ingredient requirements for EPA Minimum Risk Pesticides listed in 40 CFR 152.25(f)(1) and 40 CFR 152.25(f)(2).
