American History

I purchased this DVD to replace my VHS. I just read Diannh Carroll's book realized she had a part in this movie. So I ordered it online. I knew for sure I couldn't find this in stores. I loved this movie. It gives a real humanity to President Thomas Jefferson. This movie is very insightful. Sam Neil's performance was presidential.

I have always enjoyed biographies and this one was particularly interesting. Some of the experiences in this dear woman's life were tragic. It was well done and enlightening as to what really happened. We visited Monticello some time ago and were told Sally had had one child with President Jefferson. This account states she had 5. I recommend it from an historical stand point though from the content was quite sad.
