Finally a rare cut of deli roast beef!

I was picking up the Prima Della roast beef up until Walmart quit running the special for 1lb meat plus 1/2lb cheese for $9. The butcher recommended this brand and I was pleasantly surprised. Its a little more salty but that is welcomed. It was delicious cold or warmed up for a hot sandwich. Pairs well with the baby Swiss wheel!

I like it rare so this was perfect. Tastes great the only negative was strips of fat but I cut them out. Price was like 6.99/lbs good buy

I had my daughter pick up a 1/2 pound of roast beef for me when we were doing sandwiches for dinner last week. She purchased this brand as the price was a little better than the rest of what was offered...goes to show you REALLY do get what you paid for! I like my roast beef around rare to medium rare...this was practically RAW. It was so "rare" that you could NOT just tear it apart, you had to cut it with a knife. It was tough, stringy and basically inedible. I ended up feeding it to my dog. I would NEVER recommend this product to anyone...and I certainly will not purchase it or any of Best Brand deli meats again.
