Poor quality of Santa tree topper

This tree topper came with a piece broken off of Santa's staff. Nothing that I can't re-glue myself but extremely annoying that I should have to do so. The lighting on the front of the Santa is not as full as depicted in the picture. I'm thinking about returning the item.
