Awesome Little Gadget!

I purchased this MP3 player for my son's 10th birthday. Now, for the price I wasn't expecting a whole lot. I just wanted something he could listen to some music on. As a typical 10 year old I didn't figure it would last long before it was broken or lost, so I didn't want to pay the high price for a big name device. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! It was so easy to download music and the reception is crystal clear. He loves that the name of the song and artist are displayed, and I love that I MORE than got my money worth. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

What a value & so many features!

I bought this for my 7yr old, and she loves it. It has excellent capacity to hold all kinds of media-pictures, videos (once you convert them with the easy to use program on the CD that comes with it), your voice, ebooks and data files. I've already put on about 60 songs, 60 videos (from youtube using the savevid website and the mp4 choice to convert) and my camera, 50 pics and there is still a TON of room left on it. You can also play the FM radio and record your own voice. I think the manual that comes on the CD(not the paper one) is way better at explaining things. I also like that you can delete files right from the mp3 f you want to. The screen has nice color resolution and the sound quality is very good and you can even adjust it with the built-in equalizer. The only thing I noticed is that if you watch lots of video on it, like my kids do, you'll have to recharge the battery fairly often by plugging the included USB cord into your computer. This is definitely a way better value than the XOvision Slicker that I bought first and then returned-that one has half the memory capacity, is not as user friendly in my opinion and uses a weird smaller non-standard sized headphone jack, so if you ever wanted to upgrade headphones, you'd have to find that special smaller size and it won't fit the standard plug-in for ipod speakers or players. The XOVision cost about $23 and this Ematic was $30, the $7 is WELL worth it! I like it so much, I already ordered a 2nd one for our household.

Good value for the price

I bought this for an 8 year old. The music sounds good but the picture is not as clear as a more expensive MP3 player, but that is what i expected for less then $30. It is pretty easy to transfer music, it's small and great for a child.
