Perfect healthy snack on the go!

I'm impressed with the difference in these meat sticks compared to others you find at gas stations and grocery stores. This meat is sourced from the U.S. and Canada, raised without antibiotics, no added hormones, vegetarian fed and it's made in Vermont. First 3 ingredients are Beef, Pork, and Sea Salt. Each stick is about 1/2" in diameter and 6 1/4" long. Each contains 6g of Protein and has 80 calories. These meat sticks are moist, tender and not too peppery. The Sea Salt can be a little salty tasting at times but, overall, these are really good. I'm used to eating meat sticks that are harder in texture and more flavorful because of the artificial ingredients but I'd much rather eat these because they don't contain all of the unhealthy preservatives. This is also certified Gluten-Free. The price for a box of 24 seems high initially until you consider that a less healthy, smaller stick costs around $2.00 each. This is so much better for you and less money so I recommend these to anyone wanting a more healthy snack on the go!

Yummy

The Vermont cracked pepper meat sticks are delicious. I'm very fussy when it comes to beef sticks and I loved these. Not only are they very tasty but they also make a great snack at only 80 calories each. They also don't have nitrates, preservatives, or MSG in them & the meat is also raised free of antibiotics and added hormones, so these are definitely a much healthier option then any other beef stick that I have come across. I'm not only fussy about taste but I'm equally fussy about texture. If the texture is mushy, I won't touch it. These don't have the mushy texture that a lot of other beef sticks have. These are by far the best beef sticks that I have ever had and these will be my new to go beef sticks. I would highly recommend these!

Great beef sticks

This is by far some of the best beef sticks I have ever had, & I have had quite a few. They are satisfying & give you that chew you are after, when you want a beef stick. There isn't any sickening processed BBQ flavoring in this, like some beef sticks have, this has a very fresh, & honest outdoor BBQ taste. The taste is liking to what you would do yourself. It is a little spicy, which makes it all the better. These beef sticks aren't hard & dried out, in fact, they are soft. There is the satisfying snap, that comes with a beef stick, the meat is such that you enjoy eating it, not just choke it down. I have had a few sticks, & I didn't find as many "hard" or gristle pieces as I have in other brands. These sticks are the right size to stick in your lunch, your glove box, or your back pocket. Individually wrapped in an easy to open package. Just split, peel & eat. They don't slide around, & I haven't had one fall out of the package either. You don't have to chomp it all down either. If you're the kind that likes to suck on your beef sticks, maybe stick a wad at your gums, these are pretty darned good for doing that, as well. They are only 90 calories each, with 7 grams of protein, which is pretty decent, especially for as big a beef stick as these are.
