Certain foods give me heartburn usually in the am. Ex. jelly, cinnamon, chocolate. So grab tums whenever I decide to eat the above, and it saves me from the burn. Even old fashioned oatmeal sometimes give it to me. I keep em in the medicine cabinet, and the car and the purse. Been using Tums for years, and you also get a jolt of calcium to boot.

Tums is a lifesaver.

I used to be kept up at night due to a "sour stomach" after eating late. While I try not to eat late, it is sometimes unavoidable with my busy schedule.
