2 yr old ice maker broke, unavailable replacement

I'm very disappointed with the quality of this product. Just under 2 years in service and the ice maker broke with no available replacement in which I'll have to purchase if and when it does become available. New construction home with all new GE appliances and things are already starting to malfunction. Worked long enough to get past the warranty, perfect !

Ice Maker is Junk

I purchased a GE DFE28JBLCTS refrigerator and the ICE MAKER quit with in the first 2 Months. Junk.

We truly hate to hear your ice maker isn’t working properly – we know how frustrating it would be not to have a convenient source of ice, especially when your refrigerator is new. This certainly isn’t the performance we would expect, and notice will be sent to our team for review. If there’s no ice production at all, you may want to make sure the supply line and shutoff valve aren't obstructed and the water filter isn’t clogged.
