It meets industry severe snow service requirements qualifying for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

The Cooper Tire company has been making quality tires at affordable prices for almost 100 years in the United States. Founded in 1914 as M&M Manufacturing Company in Akron, Ohio, the company produced patches, cement, and repair kits for tires. In 1920 the company acquired Giant Tire & Rubber Company, and moved their headquarters to Findlay, Ohio, and began making tires. During World War II the company supplied tires for the Allied Forces and was awarded the Army-Navy 'E' Award for their contribution to the war effort.
