HoMedics Silver Springs Relaxation Fountain - Small Desktop Zen Waterfall with River Rocks

This exceded my expectations by far. The picture does not do it justice. By day it is a trickling, steady fountain. By night, it is has a "fireplace" look if placed near a light-colored wall as the light dances like flames. For people who love natural elements.

The lights are yellow and their reflection off the trays casts a yellowish flickering light onto the ceiling which is nice. It is a darker yellow than candlelight. I followed the directions and rinsed the rocks and container. The motor runs quiet. It got loud at one time but I took everything out and rinsed again and it became quiet. The sound of water falling is easily increased or even almost eliminated by placement of the rocks. It will spit slightly onto an area about five inches from the base. I have found this to be true of most fountains. Most people would want to go to a craft store and get more rocks but it makes clean up longer. It is necessary to add something to prevent algae unless you are using this as a source of water for a cat. The whole thing is plastic which is to be expected for the price. On the plus side, this makes it lightweight when you need to move it.
