Prominence Home Madelyn 13" Brushed Nickel Flush Mount Indoor/Outdoor Light with Square Clear Glass Shade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been looking for the perfect brushed nickel light fixture. We have been updating the bathroom and wanted a new fresh look, out with the old dated brass and frosted glass globe, and replaced it with this flushmount brushed nickel light fixture. This fixture has a beautiful clear glass bowl with tiny random air bubbles through out! We love the way it looks! We started by turning off the breaker to the bathroom, then proceeded to remove the old fixture, it really only took a minute or two to remove the old fixture. I actually just clipped the wires as close as I could (to save the length, easier to work with that way), then I stripped the rubber coating from end of the wires coming from where the old fixture had been. Once that was done I laid out the fixture base, globe, mounting bracket, mounting screws, wire connectors and bracket screws. You'll also need to have (these items are not included) : electrical tape, Phillips screwdriver, pliers, stepladder, wire strippers and wire cutters. If you lay these items out on your counter first, it will in stall much faster. If working near or over the sink, put stopper in the drain, just in case you drop a small screw etc while installing. You don't want to lose a screw etc down the drain. The instructions that are included with the light fixture are simple and easy to read, w/ step by step pictures. Just follow the instructions and you should have zero issues installing. It will also go faster if there's someone there that can hand you each needed part as you need it. That way your not going up and down the stepladder. I'm lazy LOL, so I just had by teenager hand me what I needed. It installed quickly, with no issues. Looks great and since the globe is large and clear glass it seems much brighter then our old fixture which was frosted. This fixture takes any E26-base CFL, LED or 25 watt incandescent bulb.
