A senior woman living alone, I found the six piece l lamp slightly challenging to piece together. Fortunately, once I placed the parts in the correct mounting order, I was able to hand screw the parts well, tight and secure. The base part is heavy, sturdy for the security of the lamp not tipping over when handling or adjusting the goose neck, for reading, or over-all room ilumination. I will have this lamp, for a long time. Question: When it is time to replace the blub, can one be purchased in a softer illumination?
