The decal has 3 layers. Paper backing, decal, and thin adhesive plastic. In order to separate you must peel off paper backing so the decal remains on the thin plastic. After numerous times of trying I couldn't separate it properly. Decal kept sticking to the wrong paper side. So, I removed the decal from the other two sides and tried applying the decal directly to the surface which was very laborious. Made it hard to line up properly and impossible to add the circular portion if decal so I wound up leaving the outside circular sections off leaving only the star. I think the problem was the decal I recieved was aged, not new and maybe set on the shelf too long. It appeared to be wrinkled, stiff, and difficult to work with.

While I did receive a purchase refund, I have not yet received reimbursement for return postage of $4.70. Company should bear this cost as product description is unsuitable for intended use. Happy to modify this Review if/when I am reimbursed.
