delivered as scheduled. notified immediately upon arrival. as far as being safe for pets and wild animals, i have no way of testing that, so ill have to take your word for it. the sprinkle top is convenient, and i like that i can ALSO take the lid OFF to pour it into a spreader if i need to. we WILL buy same or similar again.

The container arrived with the LID OFF! Looks like whoever packed it deliberately tucked it net to the jug sideways so that it would fit in the small box. Salt crystals were everywhere, sticking to the cardboard and the jug. Made a huge mess in and out of the box when I opened it. I closed the box again and there it will stay until trash day. I ordered through Walmart and they are giving me a refund.
