I did an "A/B test" with every microphone at Guitar Center and Sam Ash between the $1200 Neumann TLM-103 (Radio stations use this mic) and the CL7a. It was the only mic I couldn't tell the difference between them. You could buy 10 CL7a instead of 1 TLM-103. Always do an "A/B test" before you buy any microphone !
