Seller is very scammy.
I was absolutely aware that the price was steep, but I desperately wanted this specific CARROT CAKE MIX and it was hard to find near me. On the app, they claimed it would arrive in a few days. After ordering, I saw it was coming from TX and thought it will work just fine.
After a week it still hadn’t even been shipped. I messaged them through the app to cancel the order and refund me. Whoever replied said they would do that, so I placed an order elsewhere for the item, getting it in a few days.
I kept checking and they still hadn’t shipped, so I’d assumed they canceled it, but I still hadn’t got a refund. I messaged again about it since (I assume) they canceled the order. This time the response was a hateful “You’ll get it. Just wait.” I replied, “Wait, no, I wanted a cancellation and refund,” but got nothing.
Called Walmart about it. They immediately saw this was a bad situation, refunded my money, and cancelled the order, supposedly.
A month after I made this order I got an unexpected package. It was cake mix, but the wrong flavor… it was SPICE cake mix. Now, I had thought about ordering that at some point when I was looking for the carrot cake mix because it was easier to find, so maybe I did and forgot. I looked through the few apps I may have used and saw nothing. I was very confused… UNTIL the next day when Walmart sent me a message saying that since I received the product after being refunded they were GOING TO RE-CHARGE ME unless I returned it.
I immediately call them up again to tell them that they canceled the order for me, I had already got the item elsewhere, this package was A MONTH LATE, AND IT’S THE WRONG ITEM. Again, they knew this was a bad deal and said to keep the cake mix (which I donated to the senior center) and canceled the order AGAIN…
AND NOW THEY CHARGED ME ANYWAY, so I have to call Walmart A THIRD TIME about this messed up order.
This company is A DISASTER. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
