KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY: Counterfeit Phone and a Hidden Monthly Scam. I am writing this review to warn everyone to stay far away from this seller. What I thought was a good deal on a phone turned into a months-long financial nightmare.
First, the phone itself is not authentic. It is a counterfeit device that malfunctioned within a week. The performance is sluggish, the build quality is cheap, and it does not have the features of the genuine model.
However, the much bigger problem is the fraudulent monthly subscription. Unbeknownst to me, the seller signed me up for a fake "warranty" or "support" service that began charging my credit card $301.69 every month. I did not authorize this, and there was no clear disclosure during checkout.
Disputing this has been a nightmare. My credit card company has been going back and forth with the merchant for weeks, and the false charges are difficult to reverse because the seller provides just enough fake "proof" to create a dispute. To my absolute disappointment, Walmart has been completely unhelpful, refusing to accept responsibility for the fraudulent third-party sellers on their marketplace and directing me back to the seller who is, of course, unresponsive.
Save yourself the immense hassle. Do not buy from this seller. You will likely get a fake product and become the victim of a recurring financial scam.
