I thought the water I'm seeing around it was from the filling the humidifier for use but after a day or two of not using it I found a puddle around this humidifier. the water got pretty close to the plug and could have started a fire. I found a crack right in the center in the inner part of the device that was leaking all the water out. I'm not too old but I needed this for winter but usually the people that uses a humidifier or either children or elderly so this is a very hazardous thing to happen.
