I received this HP laptop, and right out of the box it was defective. When typing on the keyboard, the wrong letters would appear—pressing one key would result in a different letter than the one intended. Because of this issue, the laptop was unusable.
I started the refund process around December 5, and as of January 6, this situation still has not been resolved. The marketplace seller continues to tell Walmart that they sent me a return label, but I never received one. This has happened multiple times, and there is a serious disconnect between Walmart and its marketplace sellers. It is very disheartened to buy two Warranties and still not be covered or back by Walmart. Walmart has allowed this company to lie and they just believe them. The first time Walmart told me that the seller was not compliant in reaching out to them. Walmart said that since the computer was defective that I could get rid of it and they were issuing me a refund luckily I did not trash it and I just gave it to my granddaughter for youth and told her mom she had to get it fixed for her because I didn’t know what was wrong with them: later Walmart told me that I had to turn in the laptop in order to receive the refund so that meant I had to take it back from my granddaughter smh. Mind you it during Christmas time. No I’m committed to replacing it for breaking her heart. The
Phone number this customer gives to Walmart does not work the email they don’t respond to and they never seen you return labels. I have no emails from them at all. Only emails come up is when Walmart reached out to them after me reaching out to Walmart several times and adding me into the email that they sent out.
Buy at your own risk. If you don’t buy directly from Walmart and can’t return it to a store, don’t expect help. Walmart Marketplace does not protect its customers. Lesson learned. I will never buy from this seller—or Walmart Marketplace—again.
