United Tires

On Dec 02, 2025 I purchased 4 tires online from Walmart for a total of total $955.35, Order%23 2000137-98489869. The tires I received were not as advertised. It appears the tires shipped to me were older models, perhaps expired and clearly marked with yellow line marking visible around each tire. These tires looked like they were several years old, visibly discolored, and showed signs of prolonged storage and handling inconsistent with a new product. Tires of this age and condition raise legitimate safety and performance concerns and do not conform to the product description or reasonable consumer expectations for new tires. In addition, the tires are not maintaining the correct tire air pressure and require constant trips to an air station to refill lost air. When I tried to return the tires, Walmart indicated they would not accept them. Instead, Walmart has now indicated that it will initiate a dispute with United Tires on my behalf. Walmart advised that because the tires were sold by a third-party seller (United Tires), responsibility for the refund rested with that seller. This has resulted in a confusing and circular process in which neither party has accepted full responsibility, despite the purchase being made directly through Walmart’s platform, which clearly allows for return drop off by bringing tires to any Walmart with an Auto Care Center by Thu, Feb 5, for a full refund. The dispute is still pending as of 2/3/2026.....
