I recently purchased a lat pulldown machine from a third-party seller through Walmart, but the experience has been less than ideal. Upon receiving the item, I noticed that many of the bolts and washers were missing, and the attachments were nowhere to be found. As I started assembling it, I also discovered the frame was bent, which makes me question if the item had been returned previously.
Thankfully, Walmart was kind enough to issue me a credit to replace the missing hardware, even though they weren't directly responsible for this situation. It’s clear that Walmart has no control over the condition of items shipped by third-party sellers. I'm hoping I can salvage the machine without having to disassemble and return it, which would be quite the hassle. While I'm grateful for Walmart’s excellent customer service, I would caution others to be careful when ordering from third-party sellers.
