It's NOT flannel, it's that velveteen type that slides off your bed. The dial is impossible, one button for heat and time, click heat and it reverts to %231 and light shuts off. Light doesn't stay on long enough to do much, there doesn't seem to be an OFF button. Light off, is it on or off? Did the heat set correctly, get in bed to find out? ALSO as soon as I turn it on the electric jumped up on batteries (solar) which didn't happen with my other blankets.
