Hanging candles with fishing line is like the real thing, and the remote works perfectly. You have to realize it's infrared, so the candle has to be able to "see" the remote. It allows me to easily control the candle on and off. At night, they really look like they're floating. All in all, I am satisfied.

I absolutely LOVE these battery candles! They make a wonderful addition to my Halloween decorations. I can also use them for Christmas on my windows. I plan on purchasing more to add for my Halloween party and it's great that it comes with a control to easily turn them off and on. You won't regret buying these candles!
