This pottery item really works!! i was skeptical at first, but my brown sugar is still soft after many months I've had it in the brown sugar and still moist. I highly recommend this product.

This brand is USA made, and the only brand I trust to be safe placed directly in my brown sugar. They work great! However, many have tiny cracks in them. The company says that's part of the manufacturing and "normal". But it poses a health risk, as bacteria gets trapped inside those cracks and infects the brown sugar. This happened to me, as how I know. It shipped in an non-padded envelope, but the damage was their before it shipped. I'm not happy about the decline in shipping packaging/decline of customer opinion. But, at least I know this product is lead-free and food safe, unlike foreign brands. I recommend this product, but make sure it doesn't have any cracks. If it does, return/exchange until you get a good one.

Great price and no longer dealing with crunchy or bricked brown sugar 😀 When things get a little dry resoak and it will save your sugar.

Item description says two quart pitcher but only one quart was sent.
