Less than 4 stars because the description was not accurate. The listing showed 116-count bulk savings, and the photo of the box showed 116 tablets printed at the bottom. I bought that because I do not like the two-tablet packets. I do not usually use two tablets at once so thought this would be ideal, and it would either be a tall thin glass jar of unwrapped tablets like the old days, or one tablet per pack. But it was 58 two-packs, and that is what it said on the box I received, which did not match the description or the box in the photo.
I had also ordered two boxes and one of the boxes was torn at the corner.
I attached photos showing the discrepancy between the writing on the boxes shown vs. shipped as well as the torn corner, when I posted the product review. i gave it 2 stars also.
I would not have even ordered this brand-name Alka-Seltzer at all if the Walmart Equate version of Alka-Seltzer would be back in stock, but it has been out of stock for a long time. Months. I wish Walmart would either get the Equate version again or else update their online listings because WM is really sloppy abiyg their product listings being up to date, accurate, and non-misleading. I used to report the misleading and incorrect items to Walmart because i found so many, but it was too time-consuming and they did not act on the reports so i stopped. If the Equate version had been available, which is perfectly fine like most Equate versions, I would not mind that they came in two-packs and that some of the second pill in a two-pack would go to waste because the Equate version is cheap enough I don't mind. I do not like doing that with expensive brand name products, but I need this Alka-Seltzer. We do not use it so much for the pain relief as much as to carbonate a drink, because the person who needs the drink will not drink it unless it is fizzy, and half a dose of Alka-Seltzer, or one tablet, which is an aspirin, won't hurt you. But I would not recommend two tablets every day.
People also seem to be stocking up on this medicine for cold and flu season, and the price has definitely gone up, so it would be nice if the Equate version would be back in stock. Of course now I have 116 two-packs so if Equate does come back in stock anytime soon I probably will not buy any more. This order was $40 and change.
The seller did deliver the package on the day that they said it would be delivered. It was placed on my porch instead of being jammed into my mailbox. Even though the corner of the box inside was still torn, meaning it might have been already torn when they packed it, which if so someone should have caught, at least they did not leave it out where it could be stolen from my curbside mailbox.
