This printer replaced my identical printer (Canon2520,Pixma); the first one was approx. 7 years old and I was unable to rectify the error it was giving me. No help available from Microsoft, who recommended calling "Canon". When I tried. I got a routine-canned message from Canon that did not remedy the problem(the ink absorber was full). I tried, repeatedly to turn off the machine

There are problems installing the software. I would get the message "driver not found". After trial and error, I finally was able to install the software. Important: When the dialog box opens to select what to install, choose ONLY the driver and manual. Smooth sailing after that. I would certainly purchase this model again.
