All 12 plants arrived well-packaged in moist soil, with healthy, green foliage. This award-winning Tonto Crape Myrtle tree is disease resistant, rarely suffers from insect damage, and after establishing, is extremely drought tolerant. This Crape is adaptable to almost any soil. Although pruning is good to encourage new blooms, there is no need to prune this variety: it stays small! Winner of the Georgia Gold Medal (1996) and Mississippi Medallion (1999). Grows up to 8-15 ft. . A full sun lover, this plant is easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils.
