My items arrived in a very damaged package but the pans were fine. This is about the fifth set of frying pans I have bought because the surface seems to be toast after a few years "2 to 3 yrs." despite my gentle use. I suggest only cooking on medium heat and only to use softer tools like wood, nylon or silicone utensils. I do like the full use of the cooking surface on this pan which is about 11.5 inches on the cooking surface on a 12 inch pan. Most 12 inch pans have less due to the curve of the edge of the pan. I keep buying the 12 inch pan because once in awhile I like cooking more than 2 pork chops and this pan will hold about 3 large pork steaks. There is plenty of room to brown an average size roast too. The heat flows smoothly and cooks even unless the exterior bottom of the pan gets too dirty. I clean the exterior with bar keepers to keep it free of debris. I do recommend this pan.
