Most shredder bags are pre-punched for convenient insertion in your shredder, and they're reinforced for mess-free use. It's helpful to choose bags that are compatible with the model and size of your shredder's waste bin. Plastic shredder bags made from 2 to 4 mm plastic are less likely to tear when you toss them out. You can recycle paper shredder bags, which are often made from recycled materials, along with paper shreds.
