Nail buffers

A buffing board or nail buffer is the key to groomed and shiny nails. Keep nails filed and buffed, and they'll have a tasteful, smooth appearance.

Tips for choosing nail buffers:

• Nail buffers come in various shapes and sizes. Most buffer boards will have at least two grades of texture: a rougher and finer grain for different results.
• Consider choosing a shaped buffer for ease of use. Buffer blocks have multiple surfaces to provide more than two grain textures. Finer grains are for shining, and rougher grains are for smoothing out bigger imperfections.
• Use a buffer with a handle for easy control of the tool. Some buffers are also battery powered to deliver faster results.
