What is the difference between a CFL studio light and an LED studio light?
A CFL studio light typically comes with a soft box and four E27 sockets for CFL (compact fluorescent light bulbs) to plug into. This creates a soft even light, used mostly for photography. An LED (light emitting diode) studio light comes in many different shapes, sizes, and models. LEDs are much more energy-efficient than CFLs, but come at a much higher cost, whereas CFLs can offer cheaper, brighter lighting solutions.
How is an RGB LED light different from a Bi-color LED light?
An RGB LED light has an array of light emitting diodes that are red, green, and blue, when mixed with dimming, hue, and saturation controls, these lights can create almost any color on the spectrum. Whereas Bi-color LED only have white diodes and amber diodes that are used to create a different set of color temperatures, often from 5500K (white) to 3200K (warm).
What is the best kind of light for conference calls or home office use?
Small, compact LED lights or LED ring lights work great for conference calls, video calls, and live streams because they are able to fit either on a desk behind a webcam or just to the side. They are cheaper and perfect for softly lighting up faces without any harsh, unpleasing lighting.
