IPA in Craft Beer

What’s the difference between an IPA and a DIPA?
IPA stands for India pale ale and is a style of brewing beer made with more hops than regular beer. DIPAs (or double IPAs) are made with double the amount of hops than an IPA and have a more intense, fruity flavor, as they take longer to brew. This results in higher alcohol content, over 7 percent up to around 15 percent.
Do nonalcoholic IPAs taste like the real thing?
This is a matter of opinion and depends entirely on the beer. Some nonalcoholic IPAs taste very similar to their alcoholic versions. The difference is that nonalcoholic versions lack the flavor of hops. Some ales are heated to remove the alcohol content, but in doing so, the aroma from the hops can also be lost. Other brewers use different methods, such as a low boiling point, to extract the alcohol. This preserves the hoppy flavor.
What is a craft IPA?
Craft IPAs are brewed by small, independent breweries, making use of many steps, with a focus on flavor that can’t be achieved in mass production. This makes craft beer more distinct in flavor, often stronger in alcohol content, offering a larger variety.
