What is the proper way to clean a baby bottle?

Use hot water and dishwashing detergent. Clean every area of the bottle, including the cap, with a bottle brush. Take out any leftover milk sitting in the teat or the hole. Squeeze the hot, soapy water through the teat hole and do the same with hot water to rinse. Lay the bottles upside down to dry on a drying mat.

What age should kids stop using baby bottles?

Kids should be off baby bottles around 12 to 18 months. This is because teeth are developing and if a child is still using a bottle it can cause tooth decay. The development of the teeth can be impacted as well as preventing a child from learning motor skills like eating with a spoon and chewing other foods.

When should baby bottles be replaced?

It is recommended that baby bottles should be replaced every four to six months. If a crack, fading of color, leaks or chips are evident, throw out the bottle immediately.
