Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

The first Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tablet was very awesome but with the old Android OS it soon became a thing in the past. I just purchased the Samsung Galaxy 2 10.1 Tablet and its way much better than the first one! It's OS is up to date except it's not Jellybean but it's close enough! Super Fast! Speakers: instead of being on the sides of the tablet they are on the front and make a big difference in sound quality on the Galaxy 2 than the 1st one! The memory can be upgraded by the user up to 32GB Micro SDHC memory card! Doesn't have a HDMI port, that would've been nice since I recently upgraded my TV to HDTV. Being able to control my tv with this tablet is awesome also! The only downside to this Galaxy 2 10.1 is that the camera is still 3 megap...

Poorly put together for presentations

I purchased the Galaxy 10.1 16 gig wi-fi for use in presentations to clients. If this is the purpose you want it, do NOT purchase it! It has 5 individual screens which is nice HOWEVER if you putting a clients logo on the tablet it stretches all the way across the 5 individual screens which is not wanted. The wallpaper should be on each individual screen, the full logo. It looks ridiculous that only 1/5 of their logo is on the screen your presenting to them. Another bad point is you can NOT put a video file on the screen and just tap it and play it for the client, you must use "my files" or "quick office" to see the video(s) you would like to show your client. Talk about a waste of time. So if you like clicking widgets and not have anywhere...

    runsa smotth...very light to the touch...Have to learn all the features...but I think its great. Was thinking about IPAD MINI, but it seems samsung is starting to lead the way and I like it. worth every penny so far

    great tablet

    glad I bought this samsung tablet, it's very light while holding and very easy to use, easy to navagate and has a samsung app and the playstore apps too. whether it was on sale or not I still would buy it.

    Lacks owner's manual to teach navigation.

    After muddling about I figured out how to download books from Amazon and how to navigate through them. It is actually easy once you figure it out, but would have done it much quicker with a good owner's manual.

    samsung makes great products!

    This is a very good tablet. Has a nice camera and the full google play store. It also comes with a built in app to use as your remote for your tv and cable box and other devices. Has quite a few nice features. Its alot cheaper on you to oder site to store my location had this device priced at $349.99 when the site had it for $299.99. I ordered it site to store and picked it up a couple hours later.

    Not bad for a tablet

    I really love samsung products so while searching for a tablet I decided to stick with Samsung. The samsung galaxy is great but could be a little better for the price. Battery gets low too quick and it would have been nice to have a usb port for downloading pics from my samsung camera. Otherwise all else seems good so far.

    Excellent 10.1" Pad

    This is my 2nd pad I bought & I love it. The first one I bought was a cheaper tablet, very slow operation, & just a pain to work with. This Samsung 10.1" tablet is fantastic !!! Tablet boots up quick, goes right on the internet, & searches are done quick. Setting up time, date, connecting to router, etc. very easy. Battery will last 6 straight hours & charge time is fairly quick. The only problem I has with setup was installing printer drivers. Called Samsung, got connected right away, tech told me where to go to download & install drivers. Had printer installed in a few minutes. Samsung Tech Support is open 24 hours & they speak English. Highly recommend Samsung Tablets.

    Nice product.

    I bought one of these this spring for my grandson to use. It held up so well I purchased another one this fall for my other grandson to use. The only problem is that I had to order on the Internet both times as I wanted to get the one with the sd card slot so they would have more storage for their games. The line of products on the Internet is better than in the store. I have found this to be true about a lot of products Walmart sells. Overall I am happy with this product and the boys love them.

    wow, I like it even more than I thought I would.

    The kindle fire was going to be my 1st choice till I asked around . Kindlle was one page of a book and this is the whole book. I'm not very tech savy but I am learning to use more of the aps everyday. Great fun entertainment. Also, walmart has the best price on the protection plan. You'll want it, too!

    I've had this Samsung tablet for almost a month and I think it's GREAT. I debated weather to get the Tab 3 or Tab 2 and got the Tab 2. I just couldn't see spending a lot of extra money for the Tab 3 when apparently it doesn't do much more that the older version. At least for me that works! I have had some difficulty taking pics outside with not being able to see the screen well. And I'm still learning (at 66!!). I mostly use it for reading books and that's great, price wise and for seeing the book on the screen. You can read just about anywhere. And the size 10.1 is fabulous. Not disappointed!!

    Tablet great, Android OS will be tough for beginne

    I've had the unit over two weeks and am very pleased with the Tablet. I am finding the learning curve for Android OS a bit steep in some areas, particularly file management. While travelling, my wife who is barely PC literate insists on using it to play games whenever I am not using the unit. Maybe Santa will get her one of her own!

    The movie watching experience is not so good. If u see movies on netflix the resolution is bad. Camera needs a flash...but good for it being ur first tablet..you also need to install Adobe flash so u can play games and see videos on websites other than netflix.
