Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

The first Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tablet was very awesome but with the old Android OS it soon became a thing in the past. I just purchased the Samsung Galaxy 2 10.1 Tablet and its way much better than the first one! It's OS is up to date except it's not Jellybean but it's close enough! Super Fast! Speakers: instead of being on the sides of the tablet they are on the front and make a big difference in sound quality on the Galaxy 2 than the 1st one! The memory can be upgraded by the user up to 32GB Micro SDHC memory card! Doesn't have a HDMI port, that would've been nice since I recently upgraded my TV to HDTV. Being able to control my tv with this tablet is awesome also! The only downside to this Galaxy 2 10.1 is that the camera is still 3 megap...

Poorly put together for presentations

I purchased the Galaxy 10.1 16 gig wi-fi for use in presentations to clients. If this is the purpose you want it, do NOT purchase it! It has 5 individual screens which is nice HOWEVER if you putting a clients logo on the tablet it stretches all the way across the 5 individual screens which is not wanted. The wallpaper should be on each individual screen, the full logo. It looks ridiculous that only 1/5 of their logo is on the screen your presenting to them. Another bad point is you can NOT put a video file on the screen and just tap it and play it for the client, you must use "my files" or "quick office" to see the video(s) you would like to show your client. Talk about a waste of time. So if you like clicking widgets and not have anywhere...

    Great features but

    poor connection with other sources of internet. I work in very far aereas and only have internet acces using my cel phone and up to today, I cannot connect the cel to the tablet for getting internet service

    SAMSUNG TAB 2 10.1

    Great product!! Easy to set up and use. I haven't put it down since I got it. I love that I can email, play games plus do work on the Tab. The vibrant screen is fabulous!Love the Dock station! I am very happy with this product

    This product is so much fun! It has tons of features.

    I purchased this Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 mainly for playing games, but I find myself doing so much more with it! With this tablet I'm able to be anywhere in my home to check email, play games, shop, even write blogs; all without having to drag my heavy laptop around with me. The battery life is terrific; I normally only have to charge it every other day, depending on my usage of course. It does take some time to recharge, but since I do that overnight it does not interfere with my usage of this great little device! Being so lightweight my tablet is also very easy to take with me and use in any WIFI spot! I opted for the 16G, although I wish I would have stepped up to the 32G.

    Helpful Software

    It would be helpful if the tablet included the software needed to download pictures and music from a laptop. There is no mention of the need for additional software in the packaging materials and manuals. I had to call Samsung to learn how to even find Kies.

    I made an excellent choice

    I bought a cheaper tablet and returned it within a week. Decided to go work the Samsung because I have the Samsung phone and camera and they both met my expectations. Very clear screen and most of the apps I have on my phone I can I use on my tablet. Main reason for purchase is to use on my down town at work. Again good choice!! Still have a lot to learnbut great purchase.

    Team Samsung!

    I received a tablet for Christmas but returned it because it was horrible. I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, and I don't regret it one bit. The battery life is excellent. The clarity on the screen is better than other similar products. I would definitely recommend!!!

    Very good product for a great price for a 10" tab.

    Overall the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is wonderful. I've only had it for a week but am very impressed with the quality so far. I've played with both cameras and taken great quality shots. I surf the web, do FB, and do email. I haven't yet, but am looking forward to watching movies on it and I may play a few more games on it, that I don't normally do because of convenience, but the tablet is convenient to sit in the living room and relax with, opposed to sitting in computer room, not as comfortable. The only issue I have, that I know a lot of people have, and I believe there is a fix for, is playing some videos and games and not having Flash Player, although there seems to be stuff that won't play occasionally on a desk top either depending on pr...

    Vs. Ipad

    1st tablet. I was looking for a tablet but did NOT want spent a lot. I was about to get a Ipad 2 until I realized you couldn't put a micro sd card in it. Saw the Galaxy and price....I have been totally happy with it. The camera is NOT great unless conditions are perfect but, guess what, I didn't buy a camera. I just wanted something I could play on without being stuck in front of a computer.

    Great tablet and Great Price

    I purchased this tablet for my wife for Mother's Day and after reviewing several online and in store this was defientely the best buy for the money. Large screen allowed for viewing movies and videos in HD nicely. The OS is ice cream sandwich and runs well no real lagging when opening apps or webpages. Plus with the MicroSD slot for up to 32 gig mini memory card you will have plenty of room for everything you need. Great buy! Would reccomend you check this one out for yourself.

    Great Tablet for beginners

    This is our first tablet purchase. This was also the best price on a 10" tablet that was not a "no-name" brand. My wife and kids absolutely love it. We still have a lot to learn of all of its capabilities, but what we have figured out so far makes this tablet fun. I like the fact that storage can be upgraded by inserting a MicroSD card, unlike other tablets. The sound is pretty good considering the speaker size. The graphics are not bad, but I think there is quite a bit of room for improvement on Samsung's end. I also like the front and rear facing cameras on the device and it comes with a power adapter. Unless you're an Apple fanatic, this is a great deal on a 10" tablet. Especially if you are introducing yourself to the world of tablets...

    One thing that disappointed me about this tablet is that since I don't own a smartphone, I cannot use the bluetooth feature, which is what I wanted. Now I either have to buy a smartphone or get a personal hotspot from Verizon, both of which I really didn't want to do, or else just usethe wifi feature, for which icould hve gotten a less expensive tablet.

    Well worth the money.

    First off, it's not an I Pad. Dollar for Dollar and for the casual user, using it for internet access, and games, it a way better buy than the I Pad. 99% of the I Pad apps can be had for the Tab, and the best part of the Samsung is,pop in a SD Card and upgrade your memory, real cheap, can't do that with an Apple. The Samsung is just a better deal, notice I didn't say better tablet, I said better deal. And last but not least, If you think, I'm just another Apple hater. We own 2, I-Pads, and 3 I-Phones, in the family. Again if your basically using the Tab for going online and a few games, the Samsung is a slam dunk.

    I waited for a long time to purchase this tablet.It was an expensive toy for me but I found it for less with you than other places.It was delivered fast as promised and was securely packaged.It would have been a disaster for me had it arrived broken because of sloppy packaging.I was counting the minutes for its arrival as it was.     1st one music hub would not work, tec support was great really. They went threw everything could not fix. Return and got another one. Music hub worked great. Down load music from home comp. fine but would not play music, tec. support was great to work with, but could not fix. Said to send it in to be fixed. No thanks, brought it back to Wal mart. All done. For the most part it was good but for the money everything should work right.

    Great Tablet so Far

    I have only had the tablet about 3 weeks and so far it is a great tablet. Has a lot of apps and pretty fast connecting to the web. Still learning all the features, but think this will be a great tablet for me. I orginally ordered the LePan 937 inch tablet and after a month it crashed and then this is when I purchased this one. No user manual came with the tablet only a quick guide so the only thing I would reccomend is that Samsung include a user manual to asssit with the complete operation of the tablet. I was able to find a unser manual online and downloaded a copy to my computer. I am looking forward to many years of good service with this tablet.

    Amazing Tablet!

    I am not a tech person but bought two of these for my kids because they would not put Daddy's down. We already had two different Samsung Tablets and they are by far the best tablets in the market in my point of view. Again we are Samsung people because even our cell phones are Samsung. The kids love it and play with them all the time. My husband uses his as well so this tablet is the best one out there and you should definately go with the Samsung tablet. Happy shopping.

    LOVE IT! EASY TO USE & EVERYTHING AT A TOUCH!

    Was hesitant to purchase since I have a perfectly good laptop, but this is just fun and easy to use and hold! Borrowed a friends 7" tablet and it was fun, but a bit hard on the eyes so I went with the 10.1 and glad I did. Primarily got it to travel with and keep up on emails and be able to search shows and restaurants at location in Vegas. Love I can download the amazon cloud app with all of my music. Still have tons to learn, but very much enjoying my tablet!

    My Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

    Great tablet. Only disappointment was the remote control feature...Samsung is not up front with this feature...Does not meet the hype as advertised...Otherwise the device works very well and is a lot of fun to have.

    Just like the Galaxy S2 only BIGGER!

    After having great results with the Galaxy S2, I could not go wrong with this tablet. Crisp bright display, lightweight and battery durability is why purchased this item. Keeps up with video streaming without any lag or issues.
