Its frustrating that it keeps collapsing on its own because its one of those collapseable ones. But theres a board piece that you just stick in at the bottom that comes with the hamper and once you put that in place itll keep it from collapsing.

However, after having an x-shaped hamper, it's tough to get used to the size of this one. It's tall and narrow... So different than my last wide, open hamper... And as a result, the hamper fills up quicker, and it's more difficult to find the clothes I want to wash. But for the price, I'm considering buying the same hamper and using one for whites and one for darks. Not sure why most hampers are for the nursery... Don't adults need some place to put their dirty laundry too?

The hamper is tall which fits more than enough dirty onesies and blankets. I like that it's light enough for my 10yr old to help carry downstairs. Normally I'll drag it if I have babygirl in arms (handles are sturdy enough). A few reviews complained about hamper not staying up on it's own without clothes inside. I haven't had a problem with mine. The only issue I have with it is that it's not like the one pictured. Mine is a very light pink with white polka dots but doesn't have the brighter pink outline like the one pictured (hence why I gave it 4stars) Other than that, we've had the hamper for over a month, so far so good.
