I bought this to replace my previous Spirit E-210 Weber grill that I had for 8 years. Thus far I'm impressed. I went with the 3 burner model for its grilling space and burner power. My previous grill had enamel grated and I switched after using my mother-in-law's grill and being impressed with how great the steak's tasted. With that being said, I'm still getting used to how hot this grill gets and how to used the sear zone.

My third Weber. This unit hands down is the best in cooking results. Burners placement allows for heating fluctuations that enable excellent cooking results. The me Pizza stone and griddle enhances the cooking experience. My only disappointment is the lack of stainless steel grates. My first grill 20 years old my daughter still uses it. The most recent replacement just went to our nephew who never had a gas grille.

Working fine but side burner knob should have the same level markings as grille. Temperature gauge not very actuate. If it last 15 years like my last Genesis I'm okay with those issues. Cooks great and sear zone is very nice. I love the to sear my steak and ribs first. Cooked baby backs with a smoke tube and it came out perfect. Seems to clean up easy. The extra large second rack is expandable and a little awkward but I just need to practice with it. I do like the extra space it creates. I fried the lid of my side burner cause I could not tell it was on from the patio. The grille knobs have indicates the knob position. My fault completely but.

Love it but.

Super nice grill. Getting loads of compliments from my grilling buddies. This replaced a 25+ year old Weber Genisis Silver I bought back in 1990. Still worked but only worked on one burner. Turned old base into a rolling server table. Bought grill (LP Tank Type) with tool cabinet and side burner. Looking forward to 20+ more years of great grilling!

New Weber Genesis exceeds expectations!

The size of this grill is perfect for a family of four - and still plenty of grilling room when we have guests. I recommend getting the Crafted storage on the side, we've already bought three inserts and love them all.

Great quality grill the craftsmanship is fantastic. The materials they used are exceptional. The new burners they used have very good heat distribution and the sear option is awesome! Definitely worth the price and would highly recommend this grill.

Best grill so far I've owned so far.

It's brand new so I haven't had a chance to use it that much. I bought it for mainly hot dogs and hamburgers. I will always use my 22-in kettle for most other things. But the blue sure is pretty looking looks like a fancy car. My old Genesis was going on 35 years, so I thought I deserved a new one.

What a huge disappointment this grill has been. I bought my first Weber Genesis in the beginning of 2011. We grill about 3 times a week, year round, so it's gotten a lot of good use, and has served us well. At almost 13 years old, it needed quite a few parts replaced, including all the burners, the starter, and flame shields. The interior of the cabinet, was also quite rusted, but it was holding the frame together well. 

Instead of rebuilding the old grill, with as much as we grill, we decided to get a new Weber Genesis. Ugh! What a mistake. The parts are significantly thinner, and lighter than our 2011 Genesis, but I hoped that it would be okay, and the quality was still there. After spending 5 hours putting it together, I realized the flimsy door was out of alignment. Weber sent me a replacement door. 

Then, as I was installing a grill light, on the handle, I not noticed the the lid was missing enamel, right on the edge. So, Weber sent me a new lid. While replacing the lid, I noticed that the "stainless" steel side tables, and control panel, had rust colored marks all over it. I couldn't believe my eyes. 

The whole reason why I purchased a "new" grill, is because I didn't feel like rebuilding our old grill, when it might only have a few years left. Well, here I am, with my "new" grill, rebuilding it, again, and again, because ALL of the parts are substandard. At this rate, I'd be surprised it this grill lasted 5 years, instead of the 15 that Weber grills used to be known for. 

Our grill is kept under our lanai, which is closed on 3 sides. It's rolled out, when in use, and rolled back under, after it cools down. The wheels are nicer, and easier to roll on the pavers, and as a new grill, it grills nicely, but likely any new grill will do that, even if they rust out in 12 months. For that reason, I gave it 2 stars. If the grill continues to degrade, I'll update my review accordingly, if they'll let me.
