The bottom bunk rests on the floor, so I don't have to worry about the little one hurting herself if she were to roll off. The ladder and top bunk rail provide safety for the upper bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got this box it was completely heavy that's what I knew this was some really good fancy long-lasting would I put it together I love the fact that the bottom bunk is actually on the floor this give the children no way that they can hide or put stuff underneath the bed they can just roll off the bed and start their day and it's much easier for me a person with a bad back that is able to put the sheets and blankets on I love the fact that it has a stairs so my other child can go up the stairs and go to sleep on his own as well this is a fantastic bad there is no kindness to this bad at all everything is pro I think you guys should run out and get it and if you do you'll be extremely happy it's actually a little bit smaller than I thought I love it because of the fact that I have 11 year old and 8 year old and is completely perfect for them and their room size..

Nice a stardy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolute must buy! The wood is so sleek and beautifully made. It's an absolute breeze to put together in comparison to other bunk beds in the past! It took about 2 hours to complete which I feel is on the shorter side for such a large object! It's super sturdy and I have no concerns at all either of my kids will fall off or it will break. I can see us using this for such a long time coming and I absolutely recommend you buy this! I promise it's worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bunk beds are an amazing find.  The Mid-century modern styling fits perfectly in our daughter's room.  The bottom bunk is low to the ground, which makes it easy for my youngest to climb in and put, plus it makes it easier to "extend" her space by adding a fluffy rug to the entrance. The ladder is sturdy and easy to climb in and out with. The construction is great and easy to assemble.  We are so happy with this bed!

Beautiful and sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the cutest bunk bed! My daughters are 3 and 7 and its perfect for them and their age. Our house doesn't have really high ceilings and the bunk bed isn't super high like I feel most of them are so its truly perfect for our home. And the ground level mattress at the bottom makes it perfectly comfortable for my daughter who's still little. The color is beautiful, and it was easy to set up. Dont think twice about it!

This bunk bed is exactly what we needed. Fits  my two and four year old perfect and just the right side for a good night kisses on the top bunk. The big white sticker I read about in some of the other reviews is definitely an eyesore. The wood color is beautiful. It took about 3 hours to put together. Overall this is a great choice for kids.

Exactly what we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mid-Century Modern Solid Wood Twin over Twin Bunk Bed stands about 4-feet tall assembled and is the perfect height for younger kids. The quality is just exceptional and each piece was perfectly smooth and finished, with rounded edges -- a nice and unexpected touch. The bed is very solid once assembled and it goes together pretty easily. No amount of climbing or moving around causes the bed to shake, it's really sturdy. I absolutely love that the bottom mattress is basically floor-height and there's a board that goes all the way around the bottom, so nothing can get under the bed. Clearly that was designed by a parent! The color in the manufacturer photos isn't super accurate. The bed is less orange and more of a medium brown -- very nice and easily matches other furniture. It fits regular mattresses, though I think the instructions do mention a 6-inch maximum thickness is recommended. Overall, I'm just really impressed by the quality of this bunk bed and my twins adore it. 

 My only "tip" would be to really pay attention to step 5 where there's a picture of a hand pointing at a couple holes on the front boards. Those holes are for the ladder and if you put them on the wrong side (very, very easy to do), you'll have to disassemble the bed and flip it around. So pay close attention during that step and everything should turn out fine. I assembled the bed with the help of my 10 year old. Between the two of us we didn't have any problems, the only extra tool we needed was a cordless drill to screw down the bed slats. You could do it by hand, but there's something like 26 screws for each bed, so that would take a while!
