Very sturdy. 4-5 Boards make up the top of the plateform. I suspect over 300lbs.

This bed is extremely sturdy and the way it is constructed, I am sure 300 pounds would not be a problem.

not sure what the manufacturer recommends , but I had a water bed back in the 80"s and the frame work for it was very similar to this bed, and I'm sure my queen size water bed was much heavier than a couple people and a mattress. :-)

I just answered a question about weight. This bed has boards that lay on top of the frame, making it VERY STRONG! With this bed being made this way, no, there is NO weight limit!!

Unless you are small, the bed will break. I weight under 200 and I sleep alone, and the entire thing has come apart within two weeks.

I weight 213 bed couldnt last 1 year, 3 of 4 boards snapped, the mdf boards are garbage, the frame itself bends and warps, would not recommend

My mattress does slide but only because I have my phone plugged in behind the head of the bed so it pushes it.

I have yet to put the boarders on the bed (what holds the bed in place) and the bed STILL doesn't move around.

A very small lip trims the platform to assist in maintaining mattress position.

the trim on the support platform keeps the mattress from slipping around. there is no trim at the top, but the top of the bed is up against the wall.
