No, You won't be able to adjust the height of the coat rack.

No. The height is fixed. There is no height adjustment.

You could take out the middle section, it would be about 21 inches shorter and wouldn&#39;t have the 3 lower hanger arms.

No, the top part swivels, but the assembly is fixed height. You can leave out the middle section to have a short coat rack, but the lower 3 pegs would go with it. I actually tried this and it does work.

Not as designed,  but a handy person might be able to shorten it with a little work?

JUST THE TOP HOOKS THAT SWIVELS, THE MIDDLE HOOKS DOES NOT SWIVEL.

I'm very pleased with this coat rack. It's nice looking and it took no tools to put together. Matter of fact it took less than 20 minutes and it was up! I keep it inside by our back door where everyone comes in and its become one of the most handy things in the house. It holds jackets, sweaters, umbrella's , purses and even our dogs leash .I could never do without it now . Great value !

This Coat Rack arrived quickly. I picked it up in the wee hours of the morning and received prompt service too. Took it home, opened the box and common sense is all that's needed to put it together. I did that while watching an episode of GUNSMOKE! It is very sturdy, solid and looks like Oak wood. Started putting coats on it and it didn't wobble or fall over. Love this coat rack! A+

We received just what we hoped for.  It looks nice and it is stable so it doesn't tip easily, and it is surprisingly lightweight.

Wood coat hanger

I bought one of this same item (same product, but Cherry finish) a few years ago.  The function, quality and finishing of the product is good for the price paid. Now, I ordered another one for a different bedroom. I might order a third one for another bedroom. I'm happy with them.

Nice cherry wood coat rack. Easy to put together...takes two mins. Lots of pegs for hanging coats or scarves, etc. I came back for a second one.

Easy to assemble- pieces just screw right in. A few of the pieces were unevenly stained and a couple had some flat/chipped parts; but it serves it's purpose as a coat rack.

Bought this online had to wait on holiday shipping, that wasn't the bad part I knew it was going to take time when I ordered. What upset me was I put it together and the first light fleece jacket that was put on it one of the leg split from the post and fell braking the peg that holds the coats and jackets.

Vey displeased with this product, do yourself a favor and buy something else.
