This clothesline is really nice it seems to do the job so far so good this is my second load of laundry I have hung today and so far no problem it is good and strong laundry probably weighs 45 to 50 lb hanging on this line thank you for stopping by and reading my review

Really good

I bought it for an outdoor clothesline between two standard pipe T's with eye hooks. It seems to work well I did use a tightening knot that really allowed me to tighten the line very taught. I don't think it will last more than two seasons but I am very happy with that especially at this price point. The cord is very smooth and clean so no issues with sliding clothes on it or it leaving any debris on your clothes.

Good Basic Clothesline

This rope works for non-clothes-line projects, too .. Flagpole .. Use to help anchor tree, This is also great for crafting.. tying tarps down.. It has many uses and easy to adjust to needed length..
I have used it for all the projects above... 
Just what I needed.. very satisfied ..This line does not stretch giving you a firm steady pulls.

This is a must have for every household. You never know when your clothes dryer may break and have wet clothes that need drying.
I like to change the clothesline every so often so there is no chance of clothes getting dirty from a dirty clothesline. So this is a no brainer. And I have scrap clothesline for projects around the house.

Very Happy !!

We have this setup to hang our towels between dips in the pool. It secures nicely to the metal eye loops and holds quite a bit of weight considering the towels can get sopping wet when the kids get their hands on them. Now with traditional clothes pins we also hang our swimwear so we don't have to bring our clothes to the laundry all dripping to wash. Excellent quality and definitely recommended. No fraying or breakage so far.

Strong and durable

I strung this clothesline up in my garage to dry things I don't want to put in the dryer.  In addition, I put a tarp over my camping trailer when it's not in use.  I ran out of the other rope I use to tie it down so cut off a few lengths of this line to secure the tarp.  It is durable in the garage and does not stretch out.  It spent 3 summer months in the Texas rain and heat retaining the tarp and endured well.  If you are looking for a clothesline or need a small diameter rope for other purposes this will serve you well.  

strong line

All Purpose is right. This clothesline is a perfect fit for my project. It's strength when I pull on it, yet soft and shapeable, makes it great to make a cobweb for this upcoming Halloween. A was able to tie it all together to make the shape. Nothing else was needed, and it all stays in place nicely. 50 feet was plenty to make a small cobweb about 4 foot in diameter. I would use a lot more if you want to go bigger

Good tension

I received an offer to review this Mainstays 50' Clothesline at no cost in exchange for my honest review. First I will say, I am probably one of the few people who still use an outdoor clothes line but there must be more than I think because they still sell them in the stores, lol. So, I'm not new to this and I've actually used this exact clothes line before so I do have lots of experience with it. It is made of a very sturdy cotton however after being exposed to the elements and from the wear and tear of laundry, it will eventually stretch out or break at some point. You can either replace it periodically or double or triple up with it so that you don't end up with your clean laundry on the ground- as has happened to me in the past. I don't use the clothes line a lot but overall, I would say it holds up pretty well over a long period of time for items that are not too heavy. I have never tried using it indoors but I have found other uses for this clothesline other than hanging clothes. I have used it as a fill rod for caulking whenever I winterize my house or other uses when gaps need to be filled. It is reuseable and works great for tying up items such as extension cords while being stored. I highly recommend. I have included a picture of the clothes line and an aux cord to give a better idea of the thickness of the line. The aux cord is smaller.

Surdy Cotton

Summers now seem to be very hot, very humid and very rainy, destroying my line yearly no matter what it's made from. This Mainstays 50' Clothesline is woven from Polyester and Polypropylene, but it looks and feels like soft cotton. As there is no weight rating supplied, it's probably best to use it as designed, tied off at both ends and holding your wet laundry. I also like the fact that it doesn't sag or give to much, at least while it's brand new.
The price is very reasonable, and the 50' length gets the job done, making it easy to recommend this product for it's intended purpose only.

Good all purpose Clothesline.

This clothesline is very versatile. It is thinner than clotheslines of old. This is more of a thick shoe lace. It serves the clothesline purpose well, easy work with and maneuver, clothes stay securely with either type clothespin. I can absolutely see this clothesline working in a pinch in a multitude of house hold uses due to it's soft and pliable nature. Very hand to keep one on tap.

Serves many purposes

This clothes line is very sturdy. It is much thinner than the old clothes line I have now. The wooden clip clothes pins work well. But with a sheet or pillow case and the regular non clip clothes pins it does not hold the clothes as tight. Would I use it?? Yes I would as I said it is sturdy. The one thing though that did happen after I opened the package. I caught the end of the clothes line on an end of a table and it snagged it and pulled it and the end of the rope frayed. Also it coiled up. Will I still use it. yes I will as there are also other things I can use this type of rope with.

thinner clothes line

Had high hopes for this product. Anything you hang up except underware and socks will almost touch the ground. All the lines are as tight as they can be. So I wound NOT recommend.
