Lucas Oil Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer is a 100% petroleum multi-use oil supplement. It is formulated to eliminate dry starts and reduce friction. It extends oil life and lowers oil temperature in any engine, gasoline or diesel. It raises oil pressure, reduces smoking, leaking, knocking, and blow by in worn engines. It also helps to control noise, overheating, leaks, and wear in gearboxes. Since it is 100% petroleum, it can safely blend with all other automotive lubricants, even synthetic oils, ATF, and mineral oil. It keeps old engines alive and new engines new. This product is a must for motor homes, combines, construction equipment, boats, military equipment, or anything that sits idle for long periods of time.

I added 1/2 of the bottle after an oil change. Where ya put oil when add. Works great, improved oil presser.

IMHO three quarters of  a bottle of Lucas for a 5qt car or a four  and three eighths car in my case , of course how much oil you use  depends on the car , check ye olde owners manual. Oh and how you mix it you just dump it in , the engine will do the real mixing .

If this is your first time, pour 2 quarts of oil into engine, add Lucas, the add at least 2 more quarts. Start and run engine for 5-10 minutes then turn off engine. After 20-30 minutes recheck engine oil level (should be 1 quart low) add remaining oil.

best way to protect engine

Use this as the last step in treating a high mileage motor..
Put sea foam in the gas tank..spray a can of seafoam in the carburetor..then change the oil and then put the lucas oil treatment in..the difference is not black and white..it's more like ya.. ya.. ya......and OMG!..what a difference!

Huge improvements

This product is wonderful. I have used it in all my vehicles including  our 18 wheeler. You never have a dry start when using Lucas Stabilizer with your oil. It doesent drain off totally when you shut your engine down.Saves wear and tear on your engine.

they said it was slick but oh boy did they mean slick. accidentally dripped a few drops on the gravel drive when i was putting it in the hole and when I got home from work my buddy's were over there in it with the olé lady like a slip in slide

I used to burn oil and a local mechanic recommended to me and it actually work I haven't burnt any oil since I've used it.

This stuff actually works

I have vehicles for business and personal use. They all get a quart of Lucas at every oil change. And while there are many reasons for using this additive, I use it for only one reason. It keeps the oil from going acid. Acid is what wears the engine out. By eliminating acid your engine will also be cleaner. I have used Lucas for 20 years and very pleased.

An oil additive you should not be without.

Found out from my mechanic that I ruined any chance of rebuilding my 2002 Corolla since it's a zero interference engine. My rings were bad and it slowed down the oil consumption but starved the camshaft bearings and destroyed the head.
