Much better than similar size plastic waterers, if you plan to use it for more than about 3 years.  The plastic ones eventually get brittle and crack.

Chicken waterer

I like this water as it doesn't get so dirty. I elevated it slightly to keep chicks from throwing wood chips in the trough. It seems to keep the water cooler with double wall.

It arrived super fast. The quality is excellent, very easy to fill and stays clean in the coop.

A very wise purchase.

In the last three years I have bought three plastic waterers, for my hens, and the sun turned them into pieces of scrap. The metal waterer is sturdier, close to the sa.e price as plastic, and hopefully will last several years.

Steel poultry waterer is better than plastic

it doesn't work as well as imagined. sometimes the gutter where they drink overfills. i dont really know why. if i wiggle it around it stops. but im happy with it overall. its way better than the waterer we had. they still get their water filthy. guess theres no way around it. i would buy again.

Chicken Waterer

The picture shows a Little Giant waterer, and description says it is. That IS NOT what was delivered to me! It was a cheap off brand that is smaller and there is no handle on the bottom part so its difficult to fill! Completely scammed!

It's dented and water leaks out constantly
